Domestic Violence and the Workplace Workshop
DAIS and The Employer Group are co-hosting the Domestic Violence and the Workplace Workshop on Wednesday, November 4, 2015. This workshop is targeted to business owners, managers, Human Resources professionals and concerned co-employees, and will present information on the impact domestic violence has on the workplace and employees.
In addition, the workshop will provide useful strategies to create a safer work environment, such as employee education, compassionate management, privacy protection, and active partnership with DAIS and other community providers.
Wednesday, November 4, 2015, 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m at The Madison Club (Terrace Room), 5 East Wilson Street, Madison, WI 53703. Space is limited, so please register by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, or call (608) 807-4021. $25 suggested donation to DAIS can be made here.
Facilitated by Hannah Wagner Jacoby, Prevention, Training and Education Coordinator for DAIS, and Marla Rybowiak, Director of Operations for The Employer Group.
Community events are vital for DAIS and the awareness and financial assistance raised through these events help us to offer critical services to domestic violence victims and their children. They also strengthen the public’s ability to recognize and counteract domestic violence’s far-reaching effects.
If you are interested in hosting an event for DAIS please take a look at our Community Event Toolkit and contact Sheba at email@example.com or 608-807-4021.
