Raising awareness on the issue of domestic violence doesn’t end after Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October. During the month of November, Manna Cafe & Bakery and art instructor Kathy Esch from Madison College presents collective works of creative expression from various artists with 20% of the proceeds benefiting DAIS. From colorful neighborhoods, to vivid scenes of faraway places, the 2015 Range of Expression show celebrates an artistic interpretation of oil, acrylic, water color and pastel medium. Ladies & Finance “Empowered Women Empowering Hope”
5 E. Wilson Street, Madison, WI 53703
Tuesday, December 15, 2015
Ladies & Finance is proud to announce our 1st Annual ‘Empowered Women Empowering Hope” charity event! Throughout the last year we have been working to empower women through financial and estate planning educational workshops- and now is our time to give back to the local charities that are near and dear to our heart! A portion of the proceeds will benefit DAIS (Domestic Abuse Intervention Services).
Community events are vital for DAIS and the awareness and financial assistance raised through these events help us to offer critical services to domestic violence victims and their children. They also strengthen the public’s ability to recognize and counteract domestic violence’s far-reaching effects.
If you are interested in hosting an event for DAIS please take a look at our Community Event Toolkit and contact Sheba at firstname.lastname@example.org or 608-807-4021.
